Each of our visiting Key clubs gave a short talk about what they have been doing this year.
Guests
Joing us today were three members of the Cupertino High School Key Club and two members of Monta Vistas Key Club and their advisor.
Although not a guest, Ken Hall joined us this afternoon after a long absence.
Announcements
Art announced he has signed up to be Sgt. at Arms at this weekend's Key Club Convention.
Ken shared with us that Lou is doing okay, but he just isn't able to get out.
Doug and Kristin attended the prayer breakfast On Good Friday. Art was, apparently, slated to join them (they even saved him a chair) but he never showed.
Don announced that the Los Gatos-Campbell perculation ponds will be having their 15th annual Fishing Day for Children on May 6th and 7th. He encourages you to bring all your kids (last year 6,000 kids attended.) The event starts at 5am each day.
Joker - Joker
Kristin won Joker-Joker for a grand prize of $10. There was an extra drawing, courtesy of Fenton, of 2 filled Easter eggs. One was won by Clark and the other by Don.
Have You Heard The One About......?????
There was a couple who had been married some years before the husband realised that his wife kept a box under their bed and wore the key for it around her neck. Curious, he demanded to know what was in the box, but of course she would not tell him. 'I'll let you know on our golden wedding anniversary,' she promised.
Well, the anniversary finally arrived and their children gave the couple a great party. After the party the wife said 'I'm so tired. I think I'll go straight to bed.' 'No, you don't,' said the husband. 'We have an arrangement. Tonight was our golden wedding anniversary, and you have promised for years to show me what is in that box under the bed.'
'Very well,' said the wife, taking the key from her neck and unlocking the box. Inside were three eggs and about $5,000 in cash.
'What does this mean? What are those eggs doing in the box?' the husband asked.
The wife sighed. 'You won't like this. But since you insist on knowing. Every time I was unfaithful to you, I put an egg in that box.' The husband was devastated and furiously angry. But after a while, he said, 'Well, it's only three egs, after all. I forgive you.' And he kissed her, and then she locked the box and put it back under the bed.
Only then did it occur to the husband to ask about the money. 'What's that $5,000 doing in there?' he said.
She gave another sigh. 'It's like this,' she said. 'Whenver I accumlated a dozen eggs, I sold them for $1.'

Happy/Sad Dollars
Doug had a happy and sad dollar. The happy because he went to a Sharks game and they won. Sad because this caused him to miss last weeks board meeting.
Ken dropped in a happy $5 because his daughter has been accepted to UC Berkeley.
Dave G. was happy because his son will be attending the University of Santa Clara.
Dave M. is hap-hap-happy that tax season is over!
Dale paid two sad dollars. The first because a long-time buddy recently passed away and the other because Ken's daughter didn't opt for Stanford.
Happy Birthday
To Chuck who paid a $6
fine for turning another
year older.
Out 'n About
Dave G. confessed to a trip to Anaheim to watch his daughter's volleyball tournament and then to Santa Barbara for business. He is in possesion of the fine-free badge, so there was no roll of the dice for him.
Kristin went to Disneyland and paid a $9 fine.
