Speaker
Dave era oggi il nostro altoparlante. Ha fatto un rapporto emettente luce sul viaggio recente del del Kristin e suo s ad Europa in cui hanno speso il tempo in Italia ed in Francia e goduto un giorno 12 cruise.
For those of you who don't parli Italiano, this is what I said (at least I hope it is.)
Dave was our speaker today. He gave a glowing report on his and Kristin’s recent trip to Europe where they spent time in Italy and France and enjoyed a 12-day cruise.
Guests
Three guests joined us today; Pete Pavlina, Wayne Johnson and a key club member from Homestead High School.
Interclub In The Works
The job of interclub organization has now landed in Dave G.'s lap. Currently he is trying to put one together for this coming Monday, Aug. 7th with the San Carlos club. If you want to attend, please let him know.
Celebrations
Nick celebrated his 90th birthday on Tuesday.
Dave & Kristin celebrated their 23rd wedding anniversary.
Happy/Sad Dollars
Wayne put in $2 happy dollars because his daughter is home from college.
Doug pitched in a buck for the A's.
Chuck was happy to have been able to take some Key Clubbers to a leadership training camp at the beach. He was sad, however, to have missed the Oregon State game which he'd planned to attend.
Dale put in a dollar just because he was happy to be at the lunch table with all the "guys."
Dave M. added a sad $2 because he had a bad hotel experience on his recent trip to Morro Bay.
Out 'n About
Dave G. skated on his European trip because he had a free pass good for one trip which he received at last years Christmas party. Kristin, on the other hand, had to fork over $18 for the same excursion.
Richard confessed to a 10-day trip to Vegas for his granddaughter, Katie's, very first birthday. He admitted to taking a lot of pictures and doing a little gambling and was eager to announce that the whole hotel stay, including numerous room service charges, set him back a mere $26. It's good to be a hotel diamond member and those comps ain't bad either! He paid an $18 fine.
Pete spent 2 weeks in New Jersey, 2 weeks in Philly and 2 weeks in Lake Tahoe. He also attended his granddaughter's wedding. His fine was $10.
Joker-Joker
Chuck won today's draw and collected $8 from the pot.
The Fine-Free Badge
Went to Doug this month for a mere $10.
Have You Heard The One About.......????
Five Englishmen in an Audi Quattro arrive at the Italian border. The Italian customs agent stops them and tells them: "Itsa illegal to putta fiva people ina Quattro."
"What do you mean it's illegal?" asked the Englishmen.
"Quattro meansa four," replied the Italian official.
"Quattro is just the name of the automobile," one Englishman says, not believing what he is hearing. "Look at the papers: this car is designed to carry 5 passengers."
"You can'ta pulla thata one ona me," replies the Italian customs agent. "Quattro means four. You hava fiva people ina your car and you are therefore breakin'a the law."
The Englishman replies angrily, "You idiot! Call your supervisor over. We want to speak to someone with more intelligence!"
"Sorry," responds the Italian official, "he canna no come." "Hea busy with two guys in a Uno."
