Santa's Elves

Thanks to Dave and Kristin, Ann and Art who participated in the Santa's Elves event at Sacred Hearts Church yesterday where they got the opportunity to choose and then present gifts to the children.  What could be more fun than that?

Happy/Sad Dollars

Fenton confessed that he's happy to have all his family visiting, but he has 16 people sleeping at his house!  He was fine-free so didn't have to pay.

Doug paid a sad $5 because he missed the event at Sacred Hearts yesterday.  His excuse was that he was skillfully erradicating termites that turn out to be not termites at all but flying ants.

Miscelleanous Going's On

Jim & Steve had to be chastised, and fined, for bad behavior at this afternoon's meeting.  Apparently, they didn't want to put their listening ears on but wanted, instead, to talk to one another during Ann's announcements.  They must have forgotten that Santa is coming very soon, that he's watching closely and that he doesn't bring gifts to naughty little boys.

Congratulations to Dave G. who, through an Allstate promotion, gets to attend the 2006 Rose Bowl.

Thanks to Ann who brought a wonderful homemade pumpkin crumb cake to share today.

Interclub Success!

Doug, Art, Richard, Elsie, Don, Benny and Bruce all got up at the crack of dawn and attended the interclub with DeAnza last Friday and had a wonderful time.
