Speaker

December 6th - The program today was about Cal-Star, a helicopter ambulance service based in Gilroy/Hollister.  They have 7 helicopters located throughout California.  My suggestion, after hearing the cost of a transport, is don't EVER get sick or badly injured.  It's $15,000 per trip!

November 29th's speaker was Duncan Fife from Live, Laugh, Land on Top who's very dynamic presentation shared ways to be creative.  The three main keys to creativity, according to Duncan, are 1. Always say yes, but.  2.  Always play somebody smarter than you are.  3. Listen and not just with your ears, but with your eyes, nose, etc.

November 22nds program was Sue Willie who shared with us some information about the history of the Civil Air Patrol.

On November 15th Al Low, gave a highly informative talk about U.S. coins.  He also shared that 45 years ago he was a key club member in Hawaii.

Guests

Doc Brown came a calling today.

On November 15th 6 members of the Silicon Valley club visited and Ann brought a guest, Joanne Hawkinson.

It's Take A Key-Clubber To Lunch Month

Fractured Christmas Carols

Ann offered up a little fun this afternoon with a shortened version of the Christmas Carol quiz that appeared in one of our newsletters several years ago.  I understand that only a couple of folks got all 10 of hers right (including my brilliant husband) and that most didn't get even half of them correct.  Here are a few more that I came up with so those of you who didn't fare very well can try to reedem yourselves.

1. The apartment of two psychiatrists.
2. On my list, I only desire my foremost dual incisors.
3. The smogless witching hour has arrived.
4. 288 Yuletide hours.
5. Do you perceive the same longitudinal pressure which stimulates my auditory sensory organs?
6. The red suited Pa is due in the Burb.
7. Extremely jovial senior Holy Nick.
8. Far back in the hay bin.
9. Crimson lighted sniffer on a very young buck.
10. As the guardians of little wooly animals protected their charges in the shadows of the earth!
11. Mom's mother was the victim of a "hit and run" by one of Santa's sleigh team on the night before Christmas.
